I know, I know. Here in the south we are taunted by the sun, which is shining, but as soon as you step outside, you are blasted with a cold, mistral wind.
That's cold for June, even in North Dakota! Brrr! We'll be 89 degrees today. My youngest is already planning the annual first run through the sprinkler. Your Cuz in ND
I have to chime in from Milwaukee: Sunny and 75! You live in Paris where it's cold; I live in Milwaukee where it's warm. I'd take Paris in the cold any day ;)
Was it warmer when I visited Paris?? :) Just joking, I'm sure it will warm up tomorrow. We endured a horrible cold and rainy May here in Mpls, we finally deserve some warm weather. We have to teach the dog to swim you know!
Daily I check the weather page of the local paper, which lists cities all over the world, and I have been noticing it's been cold there for quite some time now...hmmm, today's forcast here is for 91 with a low of 60. Was 88 yesterday, and we broke a record high on Saturday of last week, in the wonderful capitol city of ND. We can hardly wait for you 2 to return to the great Midwest...then you can wear your new skirts :) I've been up since 5 and watched the beautiful sunrise, and the rooster pheasants, rabbits, chipmunks, and deer running around the back yard...looks to be a georgeous summer day! LOL
Madison had 90 degree temps on Memorial Day weekend - seems like we had no spring just straight to summer. The new parish center is opened and the 8th grade graduation breakfast and ceremony were the first events to be held there. Lots of tears - A.Spr.. was valedictorian and A.Sle.. was salutatorian. But construction is not finished - they are starting on the new school entrance/offices/preschool next week. Just imagine the preschool in the same wing with the middle school for a semester....
On the positive side, Field Day was sunny and warm about 78 degrees - only 2 porta-potties at the park for all 300+ students and staff but we managed! My team won "Most polite." Imagine that!! We finished up on June 2nd with a half day - now I get to be mom all summer! Ms. F is now 5 believe it or not.
Had the most fabulous mem. day wkend that I can remember in many many yrs at the lake. A whole wkend of sunshine, and heat of high 90's...perfect lake weather!! We had another of the same this wkend.....cannot believe our luck....pinch me!! B
This is my Avatar. I get to pick the clothes, accessories and backgrounds, and I can "wear heels" in Paris without my feet killing me. And as a bonus, she never has a bad hair day, or a zit, and all the new clothes are free!!! It's kind of like playing Barbies for 30 somethings. With me is avatar-Lucy. She's almost as cute as the real one!

Kind of makes you long for "toasty" North Dakota, eh?

Forecast looking good for next week though.
Bon weekend.

Hope it warms up soon! Thinking of you-
Not only is it cold here in Paris, but I've caught a nasty cold virus that's been going around my office.
